What other cleaners do this? I remember something about Norton 2008 being one of the best cleaners in this regard?

MP1 is coming for version 7. Relase date before the end of the year I think. They have another team working on v8.

Something that Kaspersky have added since their version 6 (AFAIK it is something like "delete on reboot")

If you are talking about the iSwift "issues" this will "fix" that. If I remember correctly, 8 will no longer use it.

Correct
Version 8 will have a complete new engine. \This issue won't be there anymore

OK, I am counting on you beta testers to get it bug free so I won't have to go to something else till the bugs are fixed.
I even dread MP1 after my KAV 6 experience. ???

I'm just going to trust Don. :thumb:

Best,
Jerry

Don is the big man.
Well version 8 will only be tested in the very early stages. Call it a pre alpha stage or whatever. There will be MP version for 7 as well. Starting very soon.

So you're basicly saying i'm fat! >:( ................................................;)

Jerry

I would simply wait for the released versions and stay away from beta's, they are only for the interested folks that don't mind doing a bit of "reconstructive surgery" to the system in case of a bug with a big impact so to speak........;)

Even when new versions are released i would stay with what works for a while until the first experiences are reported back from other users............................unless a problem which you saw is one of the fixed items in the new versions.

Thanks, Don, I am going to take that advice. I am not all that good at "reconstructive surgery." Since KIS 7 is running so well, I don't want to "Fix it 'till it's broke." ;D

Jerry

And better with every version. KIS 7 really runs like a dream, and that's saying something, as KIS 6 was great. The pictures of 8 looks neat-o; clean, nice colors, and it looks like it means business. 8)

Nop no you know me Don. I mean Big as in a great hero, the big Kaspersky Guru. ;) :P

You are right in the next sentences though. It is best to stay away from it untill most bugs are gone. We testers are there to work things out
