I'm just formatting...I've been using nod32 so far...
But I have some doubts now...
What's best for a "family" pc?
Someone told me to install KIS 7.0...But I think It's a bit heavy...it slows down firefox and everything...
What do u think??
Help me make my choice :D

If NOD32 has been working for you so far. Stay with it. Its a good AV.
If you want to know about other AV I suggest you read previous posts rather than make a new one.

I'm having problems now...Something opening ie pages...a spyware I think...and nod32 scans doens't see anything...
Wondering...Is it better Kav with proactive, or, Nod32 with a Hips?
:D

I think you should trial both. Both are very good.It also depends on your pc.For some reason my pc doesn't like Nod32.I always got some nod32 error when I rebooted. It was a pain.
Kis7 works a treat here.

I already tried kav 6 sometime ago...I noticed it was SOOOO heavy on resources compared to nod...
I also noticed on av-comparatives.org that kav didn't reach 10% in real time protection! Do I have to believe those tests? I thinks it's crazy!
They made a test with proactive on as well, and kav reached 35%...
still nothing compared to nod32...is that true?
