Hello Maddawgz,

Yes! It's worthwile to use MVPS Host file. I've used this for years, & I'm assured that I cannot reach some of the real nasty places. Make sure you pickup 'Hostman' which will protect the host file, & make installing & update a cinch, I believe 'Funky Toad' put out Hostman. As for SpyBot have not used this in ages.
