Hi Guys,

I have a fairly good understanding of 'Hot Fix Uninstallers' & 'Old Prefetch' I generally don't use the 'Old Prefetch' & after windows causes no problems I'll uninstall the "Hot Fix Uninstallers.' Okay

I've looked at the beginners guide to CCleaner & read about the following:

Menu Order Cache
Tray Notification Cache
Windows size/location cache
Custom files & folders

And I'm not sure if i'll regret ticking these items. Has anyone tried ticking these items, results good/bad?

When I used CCleaner ticking the first two caused me no problems. I didnt tick the third because I didntwant my window size/location to be reset. And I didnt tick the last one because theres no custom files or folders I wanted deleted.

Hi WSFuser,

Great I'm emboldened now! According to CC's description of 'Windows Size/Location Cache' this can become full of uneeded redundant stuff.
