I'm on a budget right now, and I don't feel like renewing my Nod32 subscription at the moment, but I was wondering what would the best Free Anti-Virus be?
I'm running AVG-Free now, but I'm thinking about switching to Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic.
Any advice?
I'm on Vista, and I don't want a bloated program.

My own opinion is that AntiVir is better than AVG as long as you can tolerate the nag screen popup when it updates and the semi-unreliable update servers for the free edition...
Avast is another free alternative that I would consider better than AVG also...

The only way to tell what is the best on your machine is to test each yourself.
AV Comparatives tests indicate the detection rates of the various AVs.

I suggest that you take a look at AV Comparatives, and trial each one you might be interested in.
You will find preferences for each among forum members, but what might perform well one one person's machine might not run well with a minimum of problems on yours.

{QUOTE-> I was wondering what would the best Free Anti-Virus be? <-QUOTE}The one that would run best on your system since it "really isn't possible for anyone to say which is best".
