View Full Version : Is it wise to create a folder at a back up location?

Hi Everyone,

I created a TI 10 back up location on my "J" partition. However, after I created a folder ( to hold my back ups ) there, I can no longer see the acronis_backup_place.cfg file there when using any TI 10 wizard, expect for the "edit back up location" wizard. And on my last "C" drive image back up, none of the back up rules were checked , according to the log file. Prior, to creating a folder there, the rules were always checked.
So shall I assume that folders are incompatible with acronis_backup_place.cfg files ?

Feedback is welcome.

Thanks I didn't see "back up" locations in the file tree, while using the back up wizards . I was looking for them in the partition location in the file tree.

Near the top of the tree. First is Desktop, then Secure Zone. The Backup locations you want is the third item.
