Not sure where to post this, but...
I use ExtraDNS and I like it a lot. It means my ISP isn't logging everything I see (far as I can tell) and it's beautifully fast.
And it stopped working around the time I changed my ISP and they installed their dialler. Basically, every time I set the DNS server address to localhost, it gets reset, and ExtraDNS is bypassed - or that's how it seems.
Any suggestions on how to stop this, prove this, or win the lottery? What do ISPs' own diallers typically do? Should I just make my own connection using their phone number?
