New features:

-Added configurable pop-up notification options (you can select to have pop ups for *all detected changes, just for checksums, just for file deletions, combinations, *
etc.)
-Log file format changed to add date and time for events.
-Log file can now be set up to export to a text file (it is recommended you configure *the log file to be place in a directory OTHER than your FileChecker install *directory).
-Watch-list is now stored in ENCRYPTED format (you can also change your current *watch-list to encrypted format with a click of a button - if you are using one from previous versions).
-Other configuration information (such as location of log file) is stored in *ENCRYPTED format.
-Fixed some minor bugs.

Sorry, but I receive an error message when attempting to install this version:
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RICHED32.DLL
Unable to register the DLL/OCX: DLLRegisterServer export not found.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to proceed (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation."
I do have the riched32.dll file located in the c:\windows\system directory. Any ideas?
I changed the default location of the filechecker as per instructions. Using Windows ME with Pentium 4 if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance. bob

Thanks a lot for the information - a small bug in the installer is causing that problem (simply press ignore to continue with the rest of the install - it will still work fine). As I try to fix these things as soon as they come up, I'm building the new installer right now. It should be up soon (the FileChecker webpage will be updated to version number 1.3.01 once it is up).
