No problems for me- my PC is about 3 years old now and 1GB on XP SP2.

The last time I used counterspy it was light as a feather compared to it's sumo version before that. I'm thinking you might have to uninstall and reinstall it again, maybe.???

I have the same issue(s) on two machines here a Pentium 1.7M 1GB and an older AMD AthlonXP 2000+ 1 GB of ram. I have no idea why as I have tried it repeatedly with clean installs(images), but if it doesn't work for you try something else. ;)

I guess my problem with CS so far has been the damn updates - it takes an eternity to do so and am really getting annoyed. I dont mind waiting but with a 2mb connection, i dont wanna wait for 40 mins to just update!

Is that for just the signatures? I have a 1mb connection and the average update takes around 1-2mins including the merging.
Update of software version though does take an age.
