1) Are there, in so far as is possible, any hard core facts about current virii/trojan attacks and so on? (Hard to say, I would guess, as many attacks may not be reported).
Looking at updates, in security apps, I wonder if some group the size of the MS Redmond campus lolls around all day coding crap so as to take over the planet/steal whatever possible, etc. (?)
2) IF one were away from the PC for a bit, with 'net connection on AND bugcheck/reboot happened and the PC went x no. of seconds rebooting, coming up, then usual security apps loading etc., WOULD one's hardware f'wall possibly save your bacon - keep poachers out for that brief time period, you think?
