NOD32 3.0.290.0 Beta 2

I found a thread in a forum where they talked about nod32 and the upcoming release and one of them provided a URL to download nod32 beta 2 directly from eset. The URL is directly to the installation package and no page with any kind of info. Neither can i find any information on www.eset.com about the nod32 beta 2, but the URL is indeed pointing to servers owned by eset and the download is the real nod32 beta 2. I downloaded the installation package and installed and everything is working fine and it's for sure the nod32 3.0.290.0 beta 2.
So my question is if there are any public beta testing program for nod32 beta or any information on www.eset.com that i missed since i cannot find any information about the nod32 beta? Not sure if the nod32 beta i downloaded is meant for a small group of beta testers only and not a public beta since there is no info available for this beta release at www.eset.com.

Anyone know anything about the nod32 beta? (i'm talking about nod32 and NOT ESS beta if anyone should be in doubt).

Wow , it is strange you couldn't find anything on the ESET's page (at least on the news section)

Well , I am just guessing but the beta is performed by ESET Slovakia's team , not by ESET USA and perhaps that's why not much is listed in ESET USA's web-site .

Thanks, i still couldn't find any info at eset.com, but had no problems finding th beta at eset.eu. Never used that site before i read your post though. So i guess the beta is public and eset.com is just a bit slow to update their website.

He's talking about NOD32 AV not ESS. The link you provided has no link to the AV Beta.

Anyway, I don't understand - why don't you just point the guy to the sticky thread at the top of this forum which has download links to both products.
