I had the same, but the next day that was gone. There was even a map created: "EsetAntivirusTemp" within Windows Mail. I'm running Vista Home Premium,

Big Apple,
thanks for your response. I have been getting this since the new
beta has been released. Tried to uninstall and reinstall but keep getting the
question marks. The only thing that changes from time to time is the
verbage included with the question marks.

When trying to submit this reply, I got the following error message:
"You have included 32 images in your message. You are limited to using 18 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.
Images include use of smilies, the vB code [img] tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator." so I guess that evey ? is a image!!!!
I am using the Antivirus Beta and I hope this will be solved very soon!
For now I have disabled tagging!
Anyone else having this problem?

Could you please write here step-by-step instructions as how to replicate the problem? What mail client do you use? Did you change any of the default settings in ESS after installation?

Using Windows Mail in Vista Home Premium and 'tagging' enabled and Alerts and Notifications to 'all email' in Eset Nod32Antivirus 3.0.290.0.
192999
The default setting is: 'to infected email only' and that's the only thing I changed.
It's also still creating a map in Windows Mail named: EsetAntivirusTemp, only when tagging all emails. When tagging set to 'infected mail only', no map is made!

Marcos,
I am using Home XP & Outlook express.
The only default setting I changed was to show the
tag messages all the time.

To show question marks, place a tick mark in
Disable smilies in text (additional options)

Now what happens when receiving my email with Windows Mail (Vista Home Premium) is, there is temp map (EsetAntivirusTemp) created and when the mail is in my inbox, this map is deleted automatic. This wasn't the fact yesterday, only when tagging the mail, but now it's with tagging disabled and every time when receiving mail. I can't make a screenprint, as the map appears and disappears quickly.

This is how it works, but the problem with tagging seems to be really a bug though I haven't managed to replicate it yet.

Hope you succeed in replicating, as it is a nasty one.

Is this reported now as a bug? I find it weird that this would be the end of this thread. Nobody having or noticing the same issue?

Marcos, is it possible that you give some kind of confirmation, that this is being looked at?

I'm running Beta2 EA in XP Home, SP2 and the tag does not appear in every incoming email message.

I am also testing the suite where the email tag seems to be working perfectly and appears after each incoming email.

Hi all,
Today installed the Eset Smart Security and was wondering about the email tagging, a whole lot of extra lines and characters ::)
Does anyone know how to fix this or is it a bug??
Thanks,
Martin
