ESS Beta 2: Port 123 Update

After activating Port 123 (Time Port)
time.windows.com fails to connect

All others work fine:
time.nist.gov
time.nw.nist.gov
time-a.nist.gov
time-b.nist.gov

Probably a Vista x64 issue since it does same thing if filtering is disabled and Windows Firewall is turned off. Will try again next time I uninstall ESS.

Hello mhonzell,

That particular URL has always given me occasional trouble and in fact a trace route returns Request timed out. Also can not achieve Internet Time via that URL. Checking just the first few results of a Google search for time.windows.com (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=time.windows.com+&btnG=Search) shows problems with that server.

Thanks for the fast reply! The symptoms pointed more towards time.windows.com. Just wanted someone to confirm.
