Hi, folks: I have come cross that AppDefend and RegDefend were bundled together and called GhostSecuritySuite before. I just wonder is it still existing? I have seen some offshore (i am in North America) web sites are still offering downloads. What is the official status now? Has it been split into two ?

It was never split into two.
It's the other way arround: two product became a suite.
To be more exact:

Regdefend came first.
You can split functionality of rd in two:
1 - Monitor Registry
2 - Ask user for permission, handle rules, identify process and verify hashes etc...

Then AppDefend Came which added
3 - Monitor process activities.

The idea behind the suite is to have all of what is covered in point "2" shared between the different monitored aspect.

So rigth now there are two distribution option:

1) RD only
2) RD + AD as a suite.

However "RD only" is a old and not updated version.
The only reason it is offered is because appdefend never leaved the beta stage yet.

Hi, folks: Thanks for info. I am testing suite v.1.110 (bundled with AppDefend 1.000 and RegDefend 2.050). Is it an most updated one?(except alpha version).

Well technically 1.300 is a beta.

However RD is only half functioning so i'd keep to 1.100 series then try the next release.
