ESS can't remember the setting?

There are many components such as email scan and office guard not necessary for my usage and i want to disable them. But after reboot the machine, these components are still in activation, how can ESS remember these setting???? ???

This is deliberate for the betas, not a bug. Something to do with ESET wanting people to beta test the whole suite, without bits and pieces turned off.
