I noticed there is a Nod icon on the tool bar in OE now, does this mean it is scanning all OE e-mail? My second question is when it moves a infected folder, the file selected to move it to is infected file, where can I find this file and why isn't it just moved to quarantine?

Yep . OE was scanned from beta1.

I think it should be in the quarantine (visible in Advanced user interface only)

Thanx for the reply, I never noticed it until now, and I have been testing since the start.I simply changed the folder it moves infected files too, now it's deleted items, at least I know where that is. How do I know if it's working? I mean with the old Nod you would get a count of files scanned.

There was no visible "button" before beta2

There are counters here , too , just search and you'll find them

Test it by sending yourself Eicar
1. Temporary disable all protections in EA
2. Download the zip or the com file from www.eicar.org
3. Send it from your mail account to your mail account (using OE)
4. Enable all protections in EA
5. Receive mail and you should see the red ballon above the time (EA working)

The above might not work if your ISP has AV on its mail server
