VMware acquires HIPS provider Determina

The good news is that this will probably make VMware´s virtual machines much harder to hack, with that I mean apps who are trying to break out of the VM. The bad news is that we will probably never get our hands on Determina´s home user HIPS, which would have probably been one of the best "anti zero day" HIPS on the market, what a bummer! >:(

And now they have acquired Thinstall, never really heard of them before, but seems like they are offering something similar to Altiris and Sandboxie? I wonder when somebody is going to takeover SBIE, perhaps it´s only a matter of time, not sure. Also, checkout the Application Virtualization Radar, Sandboxie is probably not mentioned because it doesn´t offer an enterprise version, maybe an idea for tzuk. :D. MojoPac (RingCube) is mentioned, and what about SafeSpace? :)
