I just installed a new FTP server and client for the first time.
Installed this after ESS was installed and running. (I had the code on one of the HDD's before I had installed ESS).
After I installed the FTP client & server and started each I expected to see a warning that something was attempting to gain access to the network for (inbound / outbound) connectivity.
I was really surprised I didn't get any form of alert on either the client or the server.
Any thoughts? Is this a bug? I certainly would have expected at least a prompt / message / warning....
Can anyone explain this behaviour?
TIA
