Hi, Bioshock and Nod 32

Hello I have installed the game bioshock on my system and i found out that the dvd's contained rootkits which i dont know what they are but i do know alot of the people on the bioshock forums are really in a uproar about the rootkit being malware.

I have ran a full scan on my system and i have nod 32 set up the way it is set up as the typical way not the custum way upon installation, and i cant find any rootkit malware or anything.

Well really i never find any infected or anything strange on my pc ever.

Is nod 32 not set up right or something? I mean really i never find any problems ..... ever.
