Run an external application scan with Vista

First, kudos to the Eset gang, the AV by itself is great. Guess the roaring lion is waking up. Is there a way to setup this scan or should you just setup a pre-scheduled on demand scan. Again, I am impressed.;)

I would like to know about best way to handle scheduled scans also. Beta of antivirus only running smooth as silk here.
