Hello,

I've got Spywareblaster 3.51 but I'd like a good antispyware program working under win98SE.

Which one ofr you is the best ? Let me know, thanks.

are you looking for resident realtime protection?

Spyware Terminator (my company's product) supports Win98, but does not support realtime protection in Win98. It comes with scanning, scan scheduling and automatic updates, though.

SUPERAntiSpyware Professional offers real-time protection under Windows 98SE with little system overhead.

Thanks a lot for all your suggestions.

I installed SuperAnti-spyware pro wich offers real-time protection.

I'd like to compare with others spyware programs in order to choose the more efficient on W98SE platform.

I think you made the best choice getting SAS Pro for your OS.;D

There are inaccuracies in that list. One example is Counterspy v2.5 which is listed as "Win all" but only works in 2K/XP/2K3/Vista. You would need v1.5 for 98/ME.

The OP may want to try CS v1.5 and see how it fares against the robust SAS Pro. ;) FWIW Kaspersky AV/IS 6.0 and works in 98SE and is resource friendly. You can typically find it free after rebate.

SAS Pro is enough, I think... hehe ;)
