Hi,

I'd like to know the difference between these two firewalls. Is it from the same brand ? (Kerio personal firewall has been bought by Sunbelt so I'm a bit confused).
What are the pros and cons of these two firewalls ?

Your point of view and comments are appreciated. Thanks ! :)

Sunbelt PF is well a personal firewall meant to protect individual PCs, whereas Kerio WinRoute is meant to be used as a gateway firewall to protect a network.

Hi, folks: WinRoute has some AV functions and the ability of third party AV integration ? To protect individual PC, any major difference in effectiveness between them?

Well, Winroute requires at least two network interfaces, which I think means that it works closer to the hardware level.
As it is oriented to the business market, it is considerably more powerful and therefore more complicated than the Personal Firewall.
