Hi,

I'm not uesd to "rule setting"... In other words; I'm a newbie.
But I really find Kerio 2.1.5 attractive, and I really want to master
adjusting the rules which is right for my pc.
Is there any website or a thread where I can study, or at least
imitate other people's rules? I pretty much adjusted the BZ ruleset to my
own setting.. but it seems it is not enough.
Thank you for reading this pathetic question.
And a little help will really make me happy.

regards.

Hi omegakilo
BZ's ruleset is a good start.
A fair primer/tutorial explaining Kerio 2.1.5 here: http://www.geocities.com/yosponge/fw/ks/keriosponge.html

Heres a thread that I used to read all the time when I first started using Kerio-
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=135983&highlight=Kerio+2.1.5

Another one you might look into-
http://www.urs2.net/rsj/computing/kerio/index.html

All you really have to do is just click on search and type in Kerio 2.1.5, there are quite a few threads for this firewall.

There is this site will some kerio 2.1.5 help

http://www.dslextreme.com/users/surferslim/tpf.html

yosponge has some helps, although he does off on tangents into proxo and dns kong and some personal extra blocking rules. But a nice site with almost hidden niches with lots of ideas and info.

A good scientific reference for TCP. UDP, ICMP and a few other things can be found

http://www.comptechdoc.org/independent/networking/guide/index.html

although older it is still okay for today because the internet has not changed.
