I know how to use and edit a quote but not multiple ones. Any hints?--cortez
EDIT: I've read LowWaterMark's instructions on quotes and muti quotes but still end up with funny looking posts!

I got it to work. Here is an example:
{QUOTE-> {QUOTE-> some text[//quote]more text[//quote] << I bolded one quote so you tell it apart.
Just remove the second slash I added and you get:
{QUOTE-> {QUOTE-> some text <-QUOTE}more text <-QUOTE}

View entire post of WSFuser-- Note: funny how the entire post of WSFuser's post was not put into a quote box (this would allow testing separating quotes), perhaps quotes of quotes does not work (?).
Been at this for more than an hour, will return later to try again ( I may be dense but I'm persistent!)
WSFuser: thanks --cortez

It seems that when you quote a person, any quotes they included arent included. Maybe the admins wanted that?

As noted in the below thread in a post made by LowWaterMark concerning "mulitple quotes"....
Please add multiple quote feature (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=154910) {QUOTE-> The function is available in the newest version of vBulletin, which we've got running on a test server, and plan to install here soon. However, here's an interesting piece of input that we'll be considering when determining if we'll enable it or not... IPB has had multi-quote capability for the past few versions. Of the IPB forums I operate or provide management support to, some have asked me to disable that feature because of the mess of over-quoting that it can lead to. So, like many features available in forum software, we'll be considering it carefully before deciding whether to use it or not.
If we do decide to enable it, it'll be announced here. Stay tuned. <-QUOTE}Regards,
Bubba

Test: remark...ect..

Test: ending remarks..ect..

EDIT: This separating of parts of a quote is sufficient for most posts.
WSFuser: thanks again-cortez
Bubba: Thanks for the clarification. I hope this post with parts of quotes is not frowned upon. (everything above "EDIT") -cortez
