A topic has been removed?

Why has a topic named: "<< name of thread removed - LWM >>" (something like this) been removed, without any notice? If I´m correct this topic was posted in the "other security issues & news", and I did reply in it. ::)

The person who started the thread was a vendor/spammer, who used multiple members IDs making approx 40 such posts over a few day period. When someone reaches that level of rejected activity on the forum, we don't leave removal notices as 40 such notices would be nearly as bad as the original posts. That person and their company are not welcome here anymore and anything they post will be removed without notice.
