Is the program installed? When you installed DiskDirector, you could choose which optional components to install. Perhaps the Bootable Rescue Media Builder component was never installed.
Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis and check to see if there are folders called "MediaBuilder" and "CDRecord".
If you don't have these folders then reinstall the program but make sure to include the "Bootable Media Builder" components along with the program.

When you installed DD, did you install it for All users?
Some people have reported problems with the programs not working correctly if they were installed for the current user.
You may want to try uninstalling DD and doing a Complete install using the All users option and see if that helps.
