Some readers here may have seen my posts about some linux distros...that you install on your own hardware (the distros are free downloads)...and build yourself your own UTM firewall appliance (Unified Threat Management).

Some distros such as Endian, or IPCop with the Copfilter add-on.

Well check out this relative newcomer..and they're marketing aggressively, selling appliances with their product to businesses. However, the ISO download is free for you to install on your own hardware.

Some features...
Productivity

* - Spam Blocker
* - Web Filter
* - Protocol Control

Security

* - Virus Blocker
* - Spyware Blocker
* - Phish Blocker
* - Intrusion Prevention

Remote Access

* - Remote Access Portal
* - OpenVPN

Really cool stuff, I've tried quite a few linux router distros..this one really wants to stand above the crowd.

Nice one ... thanks for the tip. I've used Endian in a few places and thought it was pretty good, with the recent Community ISo ironing out some of the more frustrating bugs in earlier versions. I'm working on my own OpenBSD homebrew setup at the moment which should have most of the apps but none of the eye candy. I'll give this one a go to see what it's like. Thanks again.
