I've been trying out FD-ISR. An amazing program, and what looks to be an invaluable tool. I haven't tried frozen snapshots yet. Haven't felt the need to, and after reading some posts by Erik Albert, I figure I'll wait as I'm still learning the ins and outs of First Defense. I did have two questions:

I've read some good things about Software Pursuits, but have found little on Horizon DataSys. Does anyone have any have experience with these companies re: support and responding to inquiries in a timely fashion?

Also, I'm thinking of getting Perfect Disk. I know that Raxco's PD would automatically exclude it's own resell of FD-ISR from defragging. I'm not sure if it will do the same if it comes from one of the other two companies. Not really a problem. I read (in another of EA's posts) that the file to exclude was C:\$ISR\0\$ISRBIN. That's the only one, right?

Thanks in advance.

Hello my copy came from Software Pursuits, all i can tell you their's support is fast and reliable, they stay in close contact with the developer,i think its now the only reseller you can rely on.

That is correct, and actually I've tested other defraggers with no exclusions and no problems. I also purchased Raxco's version, but I own Rollback and HorizonDatasys is pretty responsive also.

Huupi and Peter thanks.
I'll do a litle more digging, if I can find anything else, I've already searched Google, Ask, and Yahoo for both product and company names.
I might look around some other security forums. Thus far, I've found more positive feedback on Software Pursuits, but they've been around since '75.
Anyway, thanks again for the quick responses.
