not that i am a kaspersky user myself, but thought i'd spread the word on this offer in case others are about to purchase KAV 6.0:

I suspect that after V7 is on the US market that we will see stores such as Best Buy selling V6 that with rebates will be free or almost so.???

Since the discount is being offered for Ver 6, upgrade to ver 7 may not be in the package. Those of us who bought into the same kinda deal with Systweak, are not able to upgrade to ver 7. So buyer beware!!!!!

Edit. Due to this unethical move on Kaspersky part, I uninstalled it and am now using Nod32 instead.

no offense but what are you talking about. The 50 percent discount is from the Kaspersky store. Even if it is Version 6 it will upgrade to 7.

Kis6 doesn't work on my machine, xp nor vista, format doesn't do a thing either.

Once satisfied that KAV V6 works well on your machine, perhaps this discount is not a bad deal...
