I recently installed DDS10 and it automaticly installed the OSS
with it. I chose to deactivate it for the time being as I only have 1 OS, Windows XP Pro.

It asked me to restart, upon restarting it came up with 2 options.
1. Menu (ESC)
2. Skip (F6)
(I recall, roughly)
I selected the Menu and it came up with a message saying it has been uninstalled successfully. Restarted, again.

Then I got to the same point with no OSS and no sign of it loading XP!
Just hung there...doing nothing.

Ive been playing around with TestDisk and it seems that my first hard drive is being detected fine but my second hard drive (with XP Installed) isn't.

I have 2 HDD's.
DISK:1 250GB Seagate IDE
DISK:2 320GB Seagate SATA (XP Installed)

It's detecting that DISK2 has a maximum capacity of 31GB!, something has gone wrong there.

I am very stuck at this point, so I put it towards you guys - after all this was caused when I chose to 'deactivate' the OSS which actually uninstalled it!
