ZoneAlarm conflicting with my comp!

hi guys,

i have this problem. sometimes, when i start ZoneAlarm (the free version), my computer just restarts unexpectedly. i'm not sure what causes this. any suggestions?

Hard to say, not knowing your system, OS and running processes.
However, I have had experience with upgrading ZA.
If you upgrade ZA without performing a CLEAN install I've had the most unexpectable results.

i have WINDOWS XP (SP1). it's a Dell Pentium 3, 256 RAM (i think SDR RAM). the problem of restarting unexpectedly only happened when i started to do windows update. anyway, i'll what i can do. thanks for your input.
