Hi,
I looked at the documentation/forum and website and depending where i look NT4.0 server is supported or not.
I would like to migrate NT4.0 servers to Vmware using universal restore.
So my question is: is it possible or not ?

Tbmk, the oldest version of Windows supported by ATI 9.1 + UR is Win2K, so if I'm correct, the answer is 'no' to WinNT. Only Acronis can tell you why! ;)

Hello fabricem,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/).

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please note that the Acronis Universal Restore add-on does not support Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server as well as NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows 98 or Me.

Acronis Universal Restore supports:

- Windows 2000 Professional SP4/XP Professional SP2;
- Windows 2000 Server/2000 Advanced Server/2003 Server;
- Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions;
- Windows Vista all Editions;

This information could be found in Version comparison page (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATIESWin/comparison.html) and in the User's Guide (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/docs/) for the respective version of Acronis True Image.

Thank you.

Hi,

To "P2V" an NT4 machine, i would say :

VMWare Converter, compatible NT4, Free.

For everything else than NT4 : Acronis :)
