Tried to install Process Guard(Ya I know no support/out of bussness)
and getting this error,anyone know what it is or how to correct it?

Howdy LW,
Sound's like an infection. Where did you download from? Visit Jotti's, upload 'that' dll for inspection, post result's.
The only other thing I could locate suggest's making sure the file's in you sys32 directory and registered (http://www.ss64.com/nt/regsvr32.html).
PS - It comes to mind you may need a more current version of the file. Discretion advised.

Before installing I scanned w/Avira,SAS,AVG AS and for a second opinion I uploaded to VirusTotal all came up clean. Did a rollback to be install and everythings ok. wondering what that error could be thou.

With all that defense let me guess .... you were just 'sampling?'
As your understanding of security soft grow's you'll find yourself opting for less (or that 'other' os). ;)

Not sampling but looking to have process protected form temination.More specifly security software and yes I do have enough (IMO)security software protection.Was looking to protect the protecters.

Well I tried.This time Windows would not boot,had to do a rollback(Rx has saved my butt a time or two)When it would not boot into windows the message was something like ....damaged or missing file:windows root system32\hal.dll
??? ???
I'm lost.
Back to where I was before I started looking for something more.
And will stay there unless this gets figured out.
