Can anyone tell me the differences between these 2 settings in the Firewall of this Suite ??? The Medium Setting is:
Suspicious TCP and UDP packets are discarded
Flooding and Portscan are prevented.
While the High Setting is:
Computer is invisible on the network
Connections from outside are blocked
Flooding and portscan are prevented
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I presume having it set to high would be more preventative, or is there little diference between the 2 :lurking:

Heres what I found from the avira forum: High setting stealths your ports and Medium doesnt. Also the High setting conflicts with p2p.

Well I just ran a check at pcflank.com and it passes the most rigorous tests at medium setting such as:
Stealth Test
Trojans Test
Advanced Port Scanner
Exploits test
All these returned a perfect 100% Stealthed, so the Avira forum statement leaves something to be desired :lurking:
All stealthed at ShieldsUp also.

If your Ip address is 192.168.X.X than most probably you are behind a router which will give you inbound firewall protection.
You will find more info on the link below, I hope this helps.
