I have K-Meleon 1.1 with the Opera Hotlist plugin.
I have been adding pages to the list.

The question I have is this;
How do I delete entries in the Hotlist?
I haven't found a way to delete entries in "Preferences" or "Advanced Preferences".

Good question. I did find this Opera Hotlist to HTML converter (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ophotlist2html/)-{ Quote: "This is a perl program that takes an Opera Hotlist and converts it to HTML code. With most Opera hotlist files, it generates standards-compliant HTML code. It can also exclude specific folders for privacy and generate Mozilla-compatible bookmark files" }-

Thanks ronjor.

I'll download and check it out.
Not sure if that will help with deleting hotlist entries though.

It looks like this file is not for Windows?

"Operating System: All POSIX (Linux/BSD/UNIX-like OSes), OS Independent (Written in an interpreted language), Linux" -from the site.

I can't open it any rate.
I need to d/l an unzipper anyway.

HTML is HTML as far as I know. Should work with any browser.

At any rate, let us know what you find. :D

That tool worked...sort of.
It didn't place the Hotlist bookmarks where I expected.
They were linked as another page in the Hotlist edit tab.

I decided to Import the Firefox Bookmarks.
There is a delete option with those Bookmarks.Easy to find too!

I did find a way to delete Opera Hotlist entries.
Hotlist>Edit. I deleted by highlighting an entry and backspacing.
This did cause K-Meleon to close with an error though.

It was very easy.
In Edit>Preferences>Plugins make sure that Netscape Bookmark plugin is enabled.
In Edit>Advanced Preferences>K-Meleon Plugins check the box marked "Enable support for Netscape Bookmarks.
"You have to restart K-Meleon for changes to take effect".

I had Firefox bookmarks under the "Bookmarks" tab when I restarted K-Meleon.

I'm now in with this K-Meleon interest. At first didn't notice any difference in speed but the longer it's up the better & quicker it seems to be.

Heh, running it with IE also. I'm a multi-tasker.

Can you use K-Meleon while having Firefox?

Once I installed K-Meleon but it took over my Firefox? Everytime I clicked FF K-Meleon came up?

???

-{ Quote: "Can you use K-Meleon while having Firefox?" }-Sure. Works fine here.
Where is your K-Meleon program located in program files? You should have a K-Meleon folder and a Mozilla Firefox folder in program files.
Should you desire, you can also have Seamonkey on your computer too. It will create a folder in program files called Mozilla.org.

ronjor,

Thanks for the reply.

The last time I installed it I just let it installed without specifying new folder and to my surprise it just over write FF folder without me doing so. All my programmes files are in C drive but my Opera and FF have their own folders. I cannot recall creating a separate folder for K-Meleon ... but I am not sure now.

Will give it a go again when I am free.

:)
