I have setup a task in True Image 10 Home. But I was wondering if there is a way to have the ouput file name equal todays date (ie. $date$.tib).
This way I can run the task automaticly and the output file will be todays date.
Thanks.

Bill1426,
As you are using TI 10, you can take advantage of the Backup Location feature, which will automatically name your backup files, using a format that includes the date and time of backup. The text file attached to this thread should help: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=172470#13.

Hello hobbit666,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Server Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATIESWin/).
You can use the following instructions (only for full backups):
- Download this batch file (http://download.acronis.com/support/rename_backup.bat);
- Edit the file in Notepad or another word processor;
- Follow the instructions provided in the file to modify its contents according to the parameters of the task you scheduled in Acronis True Image;
- Use Windows Scheduler Task Manager (in Windows XP: Control Panel -> Scheduled Tasks -> Add Scheduled Task) to run the batch file a few minutes prior to backup.
Thank you.
