Many on this forum, myself included, have been complaining for the last six weeks or so about the autoupdate issue with AVG-Antispyware. Well, the new version that was released this week seems to have fixed the issue. I know that I have gotten at least two updates via automatic updates in the last two days. I also got a false positive with the new version, but am assured by the tech folk at AVGA-Antispyware that it will be fixed in the next update.
Personally, I want to say thank you to the folks at AVG-Antispyware for addressing the problem. It's ok to complain, but it is also ok to say Thank You when things are fixed.
