Is it my imagination or is antispam very slow at classifying messages???
I have just installed beta 1a on my machine running vista ultimate 32 bit and outlook 2003 all fully updated and it can take up to a minute or so to classify messages once downloaded.
My machine specs - core2 duo x6800 o/c 3.27ghz, 2gb ram, wd raptor 150gb, 8800gtx graphics.
It shouldn't be this slow surely....?

It shouldn't be. On my Core2Duo laptop (1.7Ghz) it was slinging emails like nobody's business. I'm not sure why your experience was slower than mine.

it seems a bit quicker now approx 10-15 seconds before processing messages. If i open the ESS window select advanced settings and then the protection status and antispam module i can see what ess is doing when i download email. I would have thought it would have been pretty much instantaneous..

Hi there,
if Eset really using Mailshell SpamCompiler SDK in their ESS product, than it should be really faster..!
Especially if they uses the new SpamCompiler 4.0 Turbo SDK.. :shifty:
Look here:
