Hi,
This is a rule in the 'enhanced ruleset', with the purpose to 'stops UDP broadcasting to *.*.*.255).
However, it selects 'inbounding & outbounding" direction.
I think that to reach this goal (stops UDP broadcasting to *.*.*.255), the direction should be set as 'outbounds' and the 0.0.0.255 should be put on the right side.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, this rule is right.
The purpose is mainly to stop incoming packets sent to a broadcast address.

thanks, Frederic,
This is equivalent to this rule:
Am I right?:)

Yes, this is normally equivalent, as far as we are only discussing about incoming packets.

The initial rule also blocks packets the PC would send being x.y.z.255.
I don't know if this could happen, or if there would be an interest to allow that.
