What gives? I know the product itself is not retiring, but it says a number a related patches and tools will be? Why would they retire patches before the product? Also, I can not discern if they only mean MSDN downloads as "and other channels" followed up the whole statement. Does anyone know if they will be removing "Office Update" downloads? I downloaded SR-1a and SR-3 just in case, but I would like to know if I should take the time to find all the recent updates as well.
