I got the same thing on my 30-05-07 scan.The Symantec site listed those same registry sub keys as the ones created by DriveCleaner,a misleading application that exaggerates reports of security and privacy risks on your PC.I deleted mine because after the scan the prompt read to ignore once instead of the delete setting it was at.There was also the usual cookie,so I figured DriveCleaner had the setting changed maliciously.

If you want to restore a quarantined registry entry it may show you an error message and does not restore this key correctly, but this will be fixed with the next Version.
We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,
just introduced myself in the "Where in the World?"-Thread.
-{ Quote: "I lost my recycle bin also when I deleted the files." }-
It only occured to me today :-[ that my recycle bin is actually missing and I found the answer in the AVG-Report. The "645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E" entries in the registry have been deleted. Unfortunately the files are not in quarantine anymore, someone (?) must have got rid of them entirely.
::)

That sounds mighty interesting to me. Is there actually a clever way to (is that the word?) revive the recycle bin?! I fiddled around with the registry a little, and get the icon to show up on desktop, but the name doesn't and the program itself does not work, it's simply not 'clickable', if you know what I mean. No shortcut to the real thing, so to speak...

Hello JC_Denton,
Welcome.
I found a couple of ways to get the recycle bin back to your desktop. The Doug Knox method might be the easiest.
I would read the Microsoft page first though.
