When you say Version 9, do you mean Version 9 Home, or Version 9.1 Workstation?

Hello random110,

Thank you for interesting in Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Please note that thomasjk is right, Acronis True Image 10.0 Home (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/features.html) does not support Windows 98 and Windows Millennium.

These operating system supported by the previous version of Acronis True Image Home, Acronis True Image 9.0 Home. In addition, Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATICW/features.html) supports Windows 98 and Windows Millennium. Take a look at this page (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATIESWin/comparison.html) for more details.

Would also like to mention that you can obtain Acronis True Image 10.0 Home basic functionality of imaging and restoring by temporarily installing Acronis True Image 10.0 Home onto a machine with supported operating system (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/requirements.html) and creating an Acronis True Image Bootable CD. You can then uninstall Acronis True Image. As the Acronis True Image Bootable CD boots you into the Linux environment you can use it to back up and restore your computer with Windows 98 operating system.

Thank you.
