Cloning SATA drive to raid 0 array??

Okay here is the deal:

I made a complete image of my primary drive (36gb Win XP PRO) using True Image 10. I then made a boot cd. Restarted computer and configured RAID 0 using the primary drive as one of the stripes (total of 72GB). I proceed to boot using recovery cd. Everything is there; it sees the raid array as a drive and I select it as the destination, but the only problem is that when I boot up xp, it only shows it as a 36gb drive (as oppose to 72; before formatting). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you didn't resize the partition when you did the restore. Does Windows Disk Management show the remaining space as unallocated?

If it does, you could do the restore again and this time check just the XP partition. This will allow you to resize the partition in a further step. When it asks if you want to restore another partition, select yes and then select the MBR. Then proceed with the restore.

If you have DD or another partition manager, you could just resize the partition to use the whole array. Another common way that's frequently posted is to create a Secure Zone using the unallocated space and then removing it and having the space added to the XP partition.
