Install Nod32 without internet!!

Can I install a new version of Nod32 antivirus on a laptop that has no internet connection. I was afraid to purchase program and have it get stuck, because program will insist on updated version as I try to install it. I was going to download on my desktop and transfer it to CD.

Yes you can install it, but if dont mind me asking, how do you plan on keeping NOD32 updated afterwards?

I'm trying to wipe out everything wrong on this laptop, which I hope will return connection...I've run anti trojan and other spyware programs, and slowly but surely,fixing loads of problems.

I would suggest repairing Winsock (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=907638#post907638)

ALTERNATIVELY you can do the following:

For Windows XP:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in cmd
Click on OK
Type in netsh winsock reset
(Please note there are spaces between the netsh and winsock and reset)

Press ENTER
Restart your computer.
