Error during Upgrade to .39

Hello :-)

I am running 2.70.32 english and I have downloaded the latest version. During my setup an error occurs:

AppName: setup.exe AppVer: 2.70.39.0 ModName: mfc42u.dll
ModVer: 6.0.8665.0 Offset: 00003c6a

And the installtion stops. Reboot or shutdown of old version does not change the situation.

Any ideas ?

Hi !
You'll need to reinstall . Follow the instructions:

1) Download a fresh copy of NOD32 v 2.7 for your correct operating system
Trial version (http://www.eset.com/download/index.php)
Full paid version (http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php)

2) Goto Control Panel-> Add/Remove programs and Uninstall NOD32

3) Reboot

4) Goto C:\Program files and manually delete the folder ESET

5) Install NOD32 from the file you just downloaded in step 1
Use Typical settings

6) Make sure you have stable i-net connection and NOD32 (nod32krn.exe) is allowed to go through your firewall and Update NOD

7) Enjoy! :D

It worked. Thanks. But I do not understand why to do that - probably no one will... ;D
