Hi all!
TDS-3 keeps telling me that this file is missing: regsvr32.exe and even after a search in al boards i did not find a solution for this?
What does the file do and why can it be missing?
Did I miss something?

Hello Fraha
And welcome to the forum
If you search for the file, do you find it on your system?
Does TDS tell it in the CRC32 scans?
If you find it on your system, is there only one or are there more instances of it, like a 0 kb size one too besides an original one but maybe in another location then where TDS is looking for it?
If you locate the fiile look in TDS > Edit Scan Text files > CRCscan.txt and correct the file location there, and look if that solved your alert in the next scan.
The CRCscan.txt is an example to edited by ourselves in our situation; you'll find some recommendations in the sticky threads in this TDS forum for the CRC recommendations.

Thanks Tooske for a quick reply.
It is strange, the file is in 2 locations c:\windows\system32\dllcache and c:\windows\system32
If I add the system32 folder tds tells me that:
-{ Quote: " File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System32\system32\regsvr32.exe
" }-
When I leave it out the file cannot be found in c:\windows\system32 (!)
This is in the crc32 controlfile:
%WINSYSDIR%\regsvr32.exe
The file is Hidden! Is that the problem?

The hidden could be a problem, but i also see in your example two times system32 which i suppose should be one time, could that help?
%WINSYSDIR%\system32\regsvr32.exe
could be the result then.

The double system32 folder was because I added it in the crcfiles file.
Now i have it in there but get this result:
22:45:50 [CRC32] File doesn't exist: C:\WINDOWS\System32\regsvr32.exe
But it DOES exist with it's system attribute on and the file is 10.240 bytes in size.
