Hello,

I buy True Image Home Version (10) last month. (sorry my bad english)

I am facing one problem to use.

I have HP notebook computer.
I have two Operating system. Vista Home premium and Windows XP on the same notebook computer.

I want to make a backup of my computer so if my computer is instable sometime in future I can bring it back to its original.

Please tell me if this work:

C drive: Vista Installed
D drive: XP Installed

I make secure zone (written in manual). I make true image of C drive and D: Drive on secure zone.

If in future I want it back, can I have restore back using the Acronis Secure zone. the C drive and the D drive will be taken back to the original (in the way I took backup) if I use restore from secure zone.

Please help, and sorry for my bad english,
Thank you.

I'd make another partition "E" and back-up to there. Then if you have problems you can restore your old set-up (C and D), booting from the secure zone.

London

PS. of course it's a good idea to copy your back-up to an external storage device also.

Hello nagaya,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Yes, this is the main purpose of Acronis True Image, to give you the ability to restore the system back to a working state (to the moment of image archive creation).

Should a disaster happen or if you wish to restore the system to an early state you can use Acronis True Image (ether under Windows or when booted from Acronis True Image Bootable CD) to access the image archive stored in Acronis Secure Zone, as in you case, and restore the system.

We would recommend that you find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image 10.0 Home in the respective User's Guide (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/docs/).

Note that Acronis web site (http://www.acronis.com/) is available in several languages (drop-down combo box in the top of the web page), so you can chose the one you need.

Thank you.
