Hello , new to TI 9.1 Server Windows. We imaging our Paritions to a Tape (via SCSI-Card) every day. It works like a charme. Now we have to restore some older Files from this Tape-Image. And now the Problem..we are waiting since 8 Hours to can select the files. Is this normal? The imagingprocess is ending after arround 2 hours and the original size of the partition is 80GB. We have the last version for TI 9.1 german. Any help is welcome

Ouch..

I would not backup nor restore directly to tape... disk staging is quicker and safer to my sense.

I would think Acronis wants to analyze all image before allowing you to browse it, couldnt you restore it/copy it to an external disk?

Good luck

Ouch, indeed ... I would imagine that even optical media would be faster than tape. But another hard drive is the way to go.
