will probably help you out here. If there is an active trojan/virus running on your system our guys will be able to see it in your hijackthis log.

Two things - it is not necessary to use quotation commands for the posts above (but you can if you prefer) and secondly - we need to see your whole log from HijackThis. Can you repost the whole log, please? Thank you.

Before applying any of these fixes please unzip HijackThis to a separate folder. The program will make backups of the thing you choose to fix, but it will not be able to if it is not fully unzipped.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {E3215F20-3212-11D6-9F8B-00D0B743919D} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Run StartupMonitor] StartupMonitor.exe

Then reboot, start StartUpMonitor manually and find a nwiz.exe (probably in the Windows\System32 folder) and set it to start at boot using the HKLM Runkey.

To get back to the "no right click" problem - have you tried running "Disk Defrag"'s and "Disk Management" on all drives?

For "Disk Defrag" - Computer Management / Disk Defragmenter / click to highlight a drive / click "Defragment" and let it finish.

Do that for any drives that show up in that box.

For "Disk Management" -
Computer Management/ click to highlight a drive / highlight Disk Management / Actions / All Tasks / click "Properties" / click "Tools" / click "Check Now" / on the "Check disk options" sub-menu that pops up, make sure you put check-marks in "Automatically fix file system errors" and "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" /Click "Start" and follow the instructions. You'll probably have to re-boot for it to do both, and it takes a long time - especially if you haven't done it in awhile.

Do the above for at least your "C" and "D" drives and see if it helps the right-click function to come back.

(You can do the above by using a couple of "Run" commands, too, but I thought you might like it better this way) Pete

The things Pieter had you fix migth not have been the cause of the problem, but they did need fixed anyway ;)
