Hi paul :)

I just noticed that wilders forums are getting close to 100,000 posts.

95,813 to be exact at this moment. Shouldn't take long to get there.

What happens when it hits 100,000?

Do we all get a free cookie?
(I would like to know now so i can be prepared with my glass of milk) :P

Detox. I found a "Loophole". Just delete some of your posts. You might not get paid for it but, it should improve your karma to posts ratio anyway. ;D

Actually, we've had far more then a 100,000 posts. In the "Update Alerts" forum, every new alert in regard to software X implies to former one is deleted. Certain forums, we clean out on intervals, etc.

Over half the Smileys in that section had sadly expired. Now, these Smileys were long time participants in this forum, and had come over from our old days on the EZboard.

We fear, however, that even the younger Smileys out here in the public forum sections may soon start to be effected. If you see any of these poor creatures around please notify the Forum Admin (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/attachments/ez_goner.gif) at once. In the meantime, please help us to conserve this, our most valuable resource. One Smiley should be sufficient to make any point.

I've noticed also on another board that they have clamped down on
what you can have in your signature.
They used to allow animations and other server slowers.
Not any more, this also helps the people who still have dial-up
so pages load swift and sure.

Well, that was a nice long explanation LWM, but you're not fooling anybody. You're hoarding all the smileys so you can train them to be in your next avatar, aren't you? I'm at least glad you finally produced the bodies of the 2 that you killed (and probably a lot more that nobody knows about) by working them to death. I had heard that your avatar training facility was like death row, but I didn't believe it before now. Now we know why you require so many of them. You keep killing them! How could you do that to a bunch of innocent smileys that never did anything to you?

No, it wasn't me. It was spy1 !! Ask him. When we left the EZboard, he packed up 50,000 Smileys for transfer to here, but he forgot to cut air holes in the box! When we started running short recently, I went to the backroom to open another box and... well it was a very sad sight. :'(

You know... something's been bothering me and I've been unable to fix it. :-\

If you look very close at mr. gack.gif when he's on a blue background, you can see some slight white specks beyond the edges. I really need to get a better graphic tool that handles transparent gifs. Previous edit attempts have been a failure so it remains as it was originally posted here on the board.

And yes, I do have far too much time on my hands. ;D
